OUR STORY.

At Bold Break, we believe youth sports should be about more than just winning games. They should build character, resilience, and self-belief that lasts a lifetime.

That’s why Bold Break was created: to transform girls’ volleyball into a launchpad for leadership—not just in sport, but in life.

We’re not your typical training program. Our Napa-based facility is where athletic performance meets mental performance. Here, volleyball is just the beginning. Our players train their minds as intentionally as their bodies. They learn how to lead, communicate, self-regulate, and bounce back when life gets hard.

We’ve blended sport psychology, neuroscience, and real-world life coaching into one transformational experience. With tools like the Bold Break Journal, the M.A.Z.E. Model, and mental performance modules, our athletes grow more than their vertical—they grow their voice, their courage, and their capacity to thrive.

This is a movement. A mindset. A methodology.

We're a team of coaches, parents, and former athletes committed to building self-aware athletes—not just high-performing ones. Because true strength isn’t just physical power—it’s belief in yourself, even when the scoreboard says otherwise.

Unleash your potential. Break through.

MEET OUR FOUNDER.

Gabby Cole knows the pressure girls face in youth sports—because she’s lived it. A former Division I volleyball player at Cal Berkeley, Gabby credits sports for shaping her voice, her confidence, and her ability to lead. But she also saw firsthand how often girls shrink under pressure, seek external validation, and burn out too soon.

As a corporate professional and mother of twin volleyball players, Gabby felt called to reimagine the way we develop female athletes. What started as a self-help tool for busy moms evolved into The Bold Break Method: a holistic approach that trains the mind alongside the body.

Today, Gabby’s vision lives on in every athlete who chooses courage over comparison, and every parent who chooses connection over control. She’s built more than a program—she’s built a platform for the next generation of confident, resilient leaders.
